China has a rich source of marine organisms covering from temperate to tropical zones. We recently focused our interests on searching diversified bioactive natural products especially for those of sulfur- and nitrogen-containing metabolites from marine-derived endophytic fungi. In order to efficiently utilize the marine fungal sources and increase the number of novel bioactive metabolites available from a single fungal strain, we have attempted to explore the chemical diversity of marine-derived fungi by changing the cultivation parameters. As a result, a wide range of natural occurring compounds including alkaloids, quinones, terpenoids as well as other kinds of compounds have been isolated and identified. Among them, norditerpenoids isolated from algal-derived endophytic Aspergillus wentii EN-48 displayed potent antitumor activity, both in vitro and in vivo. The chemodiversity of the marine-derived fungi as well as their bioactivity will be reported in the presentation. 相关阅读
