Key Technology and Equipment for High-Efficiency Mechanized Production in Orchard

China is a large producer of fruit and rank first in the world both in area and output. But there are many problems like a lower mechanization, the single mechanical equipment, a high working intension and a high proportion of labor force in production costs. And in recent years, the number of agricultural labor is decreasing dramatically along with the high-speed development of urbanization and aging of society problems. Based on these problems, modern agricultural equipment led by agricultural robots can solve largely.
In the presentation, there are mainly three aspects, including: (1) research on orchard power equipment and intelligent control equipment (2) development of efficient management (3) equipment for orchard and picking machinery. As an important part of modern smart agricultural vehicle, automatic navigation has broadly applied prospect. Tractor automatic navigation system hardware includes computer, DC servo motor, motor drive, sensor, mechanical guide mechanism. The navigation platform is a Foton 4040 tractor with power-assisted steering and the small steering moment.. The key parts are that the relationship between the vehicle and the navigation path was analyzed, fuzzy rules of the controller were designed and the fuzzy controller was developed used for driving on the curve path. In this study, by using linear fitting based on least square, it is to fit orchard vehicle walk straight part of the path, principle of curve walking vehicle is mainly based on mathematics by straight lines. For the management of equipment, the achievement is mainly an intelligent sprayer orchard tree, using the tree reconstruction, improve the utilization rate, and improve the spraying effect. In the end, in order to realize the automation of kiwi fruit, actinidia picking robot of end effector was designed. Kiwi compressive properties and other related physical properties were measured, and completed the design of the end effector of a mechanical device, sensing system and control system. In the near future, these equipment could be developed maturely and they would play an important role in agriculture and may help people solve a great deal of problems effectively.
