This presentation will introduce the agro-environmental strategy of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) with a focus on soil and water resources. It will describe the Watershed based initiative, WEBs, which is a successful model of partnerships addressing water quality issues through out the country. Recent research results and future trends will be summarized. Some areas of potential collaboration will be outlined.
