Research Interests:
My research interests are in understanding the biological processes underlying carbon and nitrogen transformations in soils and making the link between processes and organisms. My polar experience include nine summer field seasons in Antarctica since 2001/2 including two work periods with the Royal Navy on board HMS Endurance.
